Main Points Covered - Sonamarg, Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg

Journey Details

We started the journey from Mumbai by Go First flight as it was only direct flight available on our preferred time, although it was rescheduled by 1 hour and we were not happy was this but Pilot helped us in taking it on faster way. We reached Srinagar at 4 PM which was decent time to reach over there. 

Srinagar to Sonamarg

We decided to go to Sonamarg directly from the airport as there was traveling time of 2.5 hours and it was best usage of time as we would be spending anyways half an hour to travel to any airport in Srinagar. 

There was advantage to travel faster as hardly anyone travel in the evening and we can avoid the traffic jams easily. 

Our decision to go to oSnmarg was quite right but our hotel Rahvilas was before the Sonmarg which we have not realised untill we reached the Sonamarg. It is a good idea to go to Sonmarg directly because our daughter want to see the snow and it was difficult to take her to the room without showing the snow. We reached Sonmarg in 2 and half hour time after that we enquired about the hotel which was half an hour behind. Actually we crossed the hotel on the way. although it's not a big problem. It was as 7.3 already we have gone back to the hotel we reach the hotel at 9:00 o'clock approximately we directly went to the dinner table and it was applied good food at must appreciate the ragvilas hotel for the good hospitality hide the food given by them rebirth and when we were on the clay share it was a quite fun for my daughter as she was able to see the snow first time in the life in for us also it was a little bit excited as we came to Kashmir for the purpose of snow only our room was quite big and people very much comfortable in that stayed overnight has having play heaters which we use because it was very cold for us although it was part for them approximately 10 degree temp sales at temperature but a person coming from Mumbai it was very very cold over here reuse the heater also it's a good advice for everyone that if you are going from hotel location just you sure that the hotels were having a heaters over there because it is the possibility that hotels in seasons summertime for them it may be summer for them but or not 4 hours you will feel a very cold over there
